Berlin police said they believe a truck deliberately plowed through a Christmas market, killing at least 12 people and injuring 48. Authorities have already arrested the driver of the vehicle, who security officials believe is either of Afghan or Pakistani asylum seeker. According to the DPA news agency, he arrived to Germany in February. The truck drove threw the crowd near the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church around 8 p.m. local time. The lorry, reportedly was stolen from a worksite in Poland, only two hours away from Berlin. A passenger, identified by the authorities as a Polish national, was found dead in the vehicle.
