Donald Trump officially clinched the presidency Monday as the electoral college reached the required 270 votes. Electors from Texas helped put Trump over the top Monday afternoon. Detractors called for electors to move in favor of Hillary Clinton or another Republican, such as Ohio Gov. John Kasich, on the eve of the CIA's assessment that Russian hacking could've played a part in the result of the election. The results will be announced Jan. 6 in a special joint session of Congress.
