It is usually seen that South remakes in Bollywood are full of larger-than-life action sequences with the actor thumbing his nose at the laws of physics and performing gravity-defying stunts while battling bad guys.
However, the action sequences of upcoming film Tevar, which is the remake of Telugu flick Okkadu, boasts of realistic action scenes, as is evident from the trailer and Arjun Kapoor recently revealed that the film team took a conscious decision to not have any larger-than-life action scenes. Elaborating on this, Arjun said, ''As the story of the film is quite believable and real, there was no point in having any gravity-defying action scenes. That's where Amit Sharma's directorial brilliance lies- he wanted to retain the realism even while entertaining the audience and so, we decided to have realistic action sequences throughout the film.''
Produced by Boney Kapoor, Tevar also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee and the film is slated to release on January 9.
