A heartwarming video has emerged of a soldier being reunited with his German Shepherd, Sarge after five months.

The video, shot on December 7 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, shows the dog initially not reconsigning his owner, however after a few moments the pup reacts excitably to his return.
