Feds: Trump may not need to divest from D.C. hotel

Federal officials said it’s too early to determine whether Donald Trump will have to give up his lease for his D.C. hotel. They noted it remains unclear if ownership of the hotel violates a clause in the deal before he enters office on Jan. 20. Congress members wrote in a letter. According to Trump's financial disclosure form, he owns 76.725 percent of the D.C. hotel. Three of his adult children, each own 7.425 percent of the project.
