Donald Trump has advocated for his daughter’s involvement in his administration, and there are indications that this wish may be coming true.
Crediting colleague Sara Murray, CNN’s Lisa Mirando tweeted on Wednesday, “Ivanka Trump to get office in same space reserved for First Lady in [White House]; Ivanka's title still TBD, per transition source.”
Meanwhile, a report by The Hill states that “instead of moving into the White House in January, the incoming first lady, Melania Trump, will continue to live in New York City with her son Barron as he finishes the school year.”
The president-elect recently said that he would like Ivanka and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to be involved after he takes office, citing her strength on women’s issues and his possible help in foreign affairs, particularly the Middle East.
Speculation about this move increased when Trump tweeted on December 12 that his businesses would be run by his two sons even though he had previously included Ivanka in that executive group.
