After the immense success of his last directorial venture 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', Kabir Khan will come up with ‘Phantom’, which stars Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif and the film, which is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mumbai Avengers’ is slated to release on August 28.
Recently, when talking about the film in an interview, Saif revealed that he will be essaying the role of a counter-terrorism operative, who is tasked with the mission of hunting down and killing those who are responsible for the 26/11 terror attacks, which reminds us of a hit Hollywood film.
Viewers might remember that acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s ‘Munich’ starring Eric Bana and Daniel Craig had a similar plot in which Bana and Craig played Mossad agents, who are sent on a mission to kill terrorists responsible for the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre.
The film ‘Munich’ was itself based on a non-fiction book titled ‘Vengeance: The True Story Of An Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team’.
