When questioned by Anna Turley about 18 year old David Brown, who was bullied into suicide by Jobcentre staff, Tory David Lidington gave a brief speech about how it is right the benefits system continues to be "fair".

"It is right that we should expect people who are receiving benefits to be subject to the kind of disciplines that apply to people in work even if they are on low pay, there is a principal of fairness here that lies behind the approach that DWP takes."
