The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees was unveiled today and after watching it, all we can say is ‘Raees aa gaya aur chaa gaya’. The trailer has impressed the hell out of us and we give you seven reasons to watch the movie:

Shah Rukh Khan- The Antihero: Shah Rukh Khan is a factor enough to pull the audiences to the theaters and audience has always loved him in grey characters. SRK is playing a bootlegger, Raees Alam in the movie and his kohl rimmed eyes, beard and those sexy pair of glares not only make him look dishy but also quite menacing. After watching him play the antihero in the Don series, Baazigar etc, now we just can’t wait to watch him play the antagonist again.

SRK v/s Nawaz: While the King Khan is playing the villain, Nawaz is playing a righteous cop, ACP Ghulam Patel, who is on a mission to nab Raees Alam and crumble his empire by putting an end to his hooch business. The trailer gives us a glimpse of their face-offs and they gave us an adrenaline rush. It would be quite a delight to watch these two acting powerhouses clash on the big screen.

Plot: Set in the 80s, the period drama is reportedly based on the life of Abdul Latif, an associate of Dawood Ibrahim, who monopolized the illegal liquor business in Gujarat. It will definitely be interesting to see Khan play the role and to know how Latif conducted the illegal liquor business in Gujarat of the 80s.

Pretty Women: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is marking her Bollywood debut with the film and her sizzling chemistry with Khan is one of the highlights of the trailer. The film will also have the sultry Sunny Leone dancing on Laila Main Laila and just a glimpse of the sensation in the trailer is enough to tell us that she is all set to scorch the screens with her moves.
Dialogues: The dialogues of the movie pack a solid punch and it’s a treat to watch SRK mouth some powerful and witty one-liners.

Action: The trailer shows Khan performing some high-octane action sequences and beating his rivals into a pulp. It’s refreshing to see the King Of Romance in this aggressive mode.

Direction: The first scene itself, in which we see a road roller crushing thousands of liquor bottles, makes an impact and keeps the viewers glued to the screens. Be it the dreamy romantic scenes between Khan and Mahira or the awe-inspiring action sequences, debutant director Rahul Dholakia has shot each frame with great finesse and we are expecting that the entire film must have been shot exceptionally by him. The cinematography too is good.

Raees is all set to release on January 25.
