Humans are experts at recognizing faces. In a paper titled ‘Getting to the bottom of face processing’, researchers from Leiden University in the Netherlands found that chimpanzees process and recognize individual buttocks in the same way humans process and remember individual faces. Recognizing one's tribe and mixing with them is part of the social life and existence.
