One of the things I've noticed creeping into headshot photography recently is the desire for actors to have super-stylish headshots that have way too much retouching. Some actors and actresses are driven by the need to look fantastic when in fact they need to look real. Actors try not to let style overtake the substance of your headshot - remember you are the focus, and it's you who'll go to the audition - not the headshot photographer or the fancy lighting.
