WWE Raw Results:
— The show opened with Seth Rollins coming to the ring. He said he wants Triple H, and he would be able to get to him by beating Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship, but he can’t do that with Chris Jericho around, so he needs to remove that part of the equation. Kevin Owens came out and said that the only reason he lost last week is because he was so concerned about Jericho’s well-being after Rollins’ cowardly attack. Owens said he’s been getting Jericho some gifts. He got Jericho a match against Roman Reigns tonight for the United States Championship. Jericho will also face Rollins at Roadblock. And Jericho’s third gift to Jericho is that Rollins will have a match right now … against the Big Show.
1. Seth Rollins defeated the Big Show. Big Show got tired of Owens yelling at him, so he chokeslammed Owens in the ring and presented him to Rollins, then walked away and took the countout loss. Rollins Pedigreed Owens after the match.
2. Jack Gallagher defeated Ariya Daivari. Gallagher got a big introduction video package before the match. Gallagher won by pinfall after a running corner dropkick.
— After the match, Gallagher offered Daivari a handshake. Daivari accepted, then attacked Gallagher and targeted his left leg.
3. Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn. This was a non-title match. Owens pinned Zayn after a pop-up powerbomb.
— In a backstage interview, Sasha Banks challenged Charlotte Flair to an Iron Man match at Backlash. WWE announced the match was official later in the show.
4. Rich Swann defeated TJ Perkins. This was a non-title match. Perkins went for a top-rope move, but got hit with a Swann Kick and pinned.
5. Bayley defeated Alicia Fox. Bayley won by pinfall with the Bayley-to-Belly.
6. Mark Henry defeated Titus O’Neil. Titus marketed this match as “The Tussle In Texas.” Mark Henry pinned Titus after the World’s Strongest Slam in mere moments.
7. United States Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) defeated Chris Jericho. Owens interfered in the match, against Jericho’s wishes. Jericho argued with Owens, slapped him and told him to leave. Reigns then won via pinfall after a spear.
— Big Cass came to the ring for a match against Rusev, but Rusev never came out. Enzo Amore had previously gone to Lana’s hotel for a clandestine meeting after Lana said she was breaking up with Rusev, but it was all a ploy to beat up Enzo at the hotel.
8. Sheamus and Cesaro NC The Club. This match was for a Tag Team Championship match next week. The New Day watched the match from ringside. Eventually the brawl spilled into the New Day and a brawl between all three teams broke out, causing the referee to wave off the match. WWE later announced triple threat match for the tag titles next week.
— Charlotte Flair came to the ring to publicly apologize to her father Ric Flair for comments she made months ago when she ended her partnership with him. She explained how hurt and betrayed she felt when Flair raised Sasha Banks’ hand in victory last week. She invited Ric to the ring and said she was sorry. He started to forgive her and she slapped his face, then yelled at him. Sasha Banks came to the ring to help and got beaten down by Charlotte. Charlotte dragged an unconscious Sasha into the ring and laid her at Ric’s feet, then mocked them both as the show ended.
