Astronomers have discovered what they believe to be the tiniest and brightest asteroid in our solar system. A team led by University of Arizona professor, Vishnu Reddy, used data from four different telescopes to investigate the rock. The rock, named 2015 TC25, is the smallest asteroid at only 6-feet-tall in diameter. It was first discovered by the University of Arizona’s Catalina Sky Survey in October 2015. It was observed by telescopes as it flew past our planet at a distance of just 128,000 kilometers.
