Jaanisaar is an Indian film, directed by Muzaffar Ali, and written by Javed Siddiqui, Shama Zaidi and Muzaffar Ali. Jaanisaar is a love saga of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, India, and a prince brought up inEngland, set 20 years after the first war of Indian Rebellion of 1857. The film stars Pakistani actor Imran Abbas and fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi, who will make her debut with the film. A period drama set in 1877, the film depicts the story of a revolutionary dancer.
