Russia has warned against re-branding the Al-Nusra Front terrorists in Syria.

Lavrov made the remarks during a visit to Italy. The Nusra Front is the Al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria. In July, the terrorist Takfiri group announced that it had split from al-Qaeda and its new name would be Jabhat Fateh al-Sham. However, it has kept the same ideology and is considered a terrorist organization by Washington and Moscow.
