A well-fed red-bellied black snake was discovered inside the door of a Lamborghini sports car that was being stored in an outdoor shed in Palmwoods, Queensland, footage published on November 29 showed.
The clip, from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, shows one of the company’s catchers slowly lifting the car door from a shelf in the shed, and spying the snake, which the catcher, Lockie, said had been feasting on rodents.
The snake was pronounced “a very healthy red-belly” by Lockie, though it was covered in oil.
“After a quick wash down to remove some of the grease he had managed to lather himself in, the big guy was safely relocated to a nearby wetland!” Lockie said. Credit: Facebook/Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 via Storyful
