Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat was recently attacked in Paris by three masked men in what authorities believe was a robbery attempt. 
The assault occurred on the night of November 11 as she and a friend approached an apartment building in the 16th arrondissement, reports The Telegraph. 
Both were sprayed with tear gas and punched. 
The assailants, who remained silent throughout the incident, then fled. 
An investigation was launched and is ongoing. 
Just over a month ago, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room. 
In that incident, $10 million in jewelry was stolen. 
The apartment building where Sherawat was assaulted and the site of the Kardashian robbery are roughly three miles apart.
