Two roommates caught in the 7.4 magnitude earthquake which struck New Zealand on November 13 evacuated their apartment in central Wellington, taking with them only their skateboards and cameras.
Ryan Allen and Matthew Clode did a tour of the North Island city capturing the structural damage, the people huddled together out in the streets, and emergency service vehicles. Allen said he fractured his foot on the way out after he tripped and fell fleeing from his residence.
