A police chase that started in Mesquite on Wednesday ended with officers
arresting a man near Fair Park.

Mesquite police said that an officer saw a pickup that had been stolen in Southlake on Rollingwood Drive.

When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, which was pulling a trailer, around 1:30 p.m., the driver sped off.

After about a 15-minute chase, the driver got out of the vehicle on McKenzie Street in Dallas, near
Fair Park, and started running. Officers were able to chase down and arrest the man.
