‘Dear Abby’ ain't got nothin on us.

YourTango goes straight to the source and gets guys talking about sex, dating. makeups and breakups. I'm Sami Jarroush and this is “That's What He Said”. When it comes to just putting up a status, is it better to just leave it just as open as possible, just this is what I'm doing-

I just put up a status that I thought was chipper. And I got all these messages like you sound really down. Like, what? No!

No you dont sound anything! She wrote the damn M F-er. You know what I mean? You wrote it, you typed it at your damn desk. You’re sitting in your boxer shorts going “hmmm.. hmmm.. I’m gonna catch the play offs today and maybe have a smoothie.” “Are you okay?”

The worst are the people who are constantly updating. Jenna just got home and can’t wait to get home and watch Grey’s Anatomy. Jenna just watched Grey’s Anatomy and was just let down. Jenna just scratched the inside of her thigh and is gonna eat some ice-

What are you doing? Why are you updating everything?

That’s why we have emoticons.

I’ll tell you what, John Carlo is smiley face.

I just put like the “O” and I let people figure it out.

I couldn't figure it out.

When you're dating a girl, do you automatically change relationship status from single to in relationship?

I got into to a huge fight about this.

Really?

With my last girlfriend. I personally didn't care what my myspace or my Facebook said. It said single since I've been on it. I didn't change it cause I didn't think it mattered. But it was a big deal to her that the world knows that I am in a relationship.

Interestingly, on my facebook, it says “In a relationship”. My wife says it's not a question - we are in a relationship! But boy are her girlfriends- “What is ‘In a relationship’? Why didn’t you check the ‘Married’ box”. Is there a married box? I haven’t seen a ‘married’ box in a long time.

Are there times where like maybe on facebook or myspace when you’ll put that statement it’s complicated ?

I wish there was another one that said ‘None of your goddamn business."

They do!

Do they have that?

Don’t make it public!

That fixes that!

Digital communication is pretty much the number one way we communicate but it is so open to interpretation. Wall-to-Wall that is the death of the relationship. Now, you and I are writing to each other, but we a middle person who can read my wall and not your wall. They’re getting half the story. They’re getting fragmented comments ‘You know what you did!’ or ‘That tasted good’ or ‘Let me taste it again.

‘I’ve been bleeding for two days’

Do we have mutual friends on facebook?
