Welcome to Love U! I’m your host Tiffany Smith. The honeymoon is over. The tan’s fading, you’re eating carbs again and worst of all you’re no longer a bride to be. Let LoveU offer some helpful hints on how to survive your first year as a newlywed. According to iVillage.com 63 percent of newlyweds confess to a case of post nuptial blues.

Although it may be hard to box up that wedding dress you don’t have to cut yourself off from the wedding completely. Instead, celebrate your memories! Work on a photo album together. Plan a get together with you wedding party and get some new activities on the calendar. Like an anniversary party to toast your first year of marital bliss.

Oh! And here’s one of you cousin! She was such a cute flower girl. I had lots of fun. Made me the happiest man alive. Why aren’t you more into this? It’s just that we’ve looked at this book every day since we’ve come back from the islands. Should we put in the video? Okay, but we’ve seen that like 20 times. I look like an idiot and I never ever wanna see it again. Oh! We can write thank you notes! Put it in the wedding movie. Yes!

It’s common to be overly idealistic about a new marriage and expect everything to be perfect. Clinical Psychologist Cara Gardenswartz stresses that it’s important to realize that no two people are perfect for each other and no one person meets all your needs. So embrace your differences and work on them together. You might even find and interest of his will open the door to a new experience for you.

Transformers more than meets The Lady and the Tramp Two. What the what? Yes! I thought you liked action movies. I know! Just every once in a while I love these! They make me feel young and innocent. And the sequels are even better. We’ll find scamp tomorrow. Do you think Lady’s gonna be able to find Scamp? It’s such a big crazy world out there. Scamp!
Good relationships are work. If you’re open, patient and realistic you’ll not only survive your one, but thrive well beyond it. And while it’s ok to wear your veil around the house from time to time, just remember the rest of us only need to watch your wedding video once. Thanks for watching Love U!
