Hi! I’m Doctor Lori Buckley with Ask an Expert. I’m a sex and relationship therapist with the Sinclair Institute and today I’m going to answering your sex and intimacy questions. Today’s questions is: Dear Dr. Lori, is it wrong to fantasize about another man while I’m with my partner?

You know what? Such a great question! Fantasies are something most of us if not all of us have. It’s such a great way to enhance our level of arousal. And they are your fantasies. They can be a secret. Nobody has to know. So a fantasy by itself? Nothing wrong with that. The only thing I would say to you is are fantasizing about another man because there’s another man who you would rather be with? If that’s the case you want to take a look at that.
