The Clinton campaign’s communications director Jennifer Palmieri recently tweeted the message, “Friends, please remember that if you see a whopper of a Wikileaks in next two days - it's probably a fake.”

A member of Hillary Clinton’s campaign has issued a warning about the authenticity of potential new releases from WikiLeaks before the election.
On Sunday, Jennifer Palmieri, the campaign's communications director, tweeted the message, “Friends, please remember that if you see a whopper of a Wikileaks in next two days - it's probably a fake.”
A Politico report about the post suggests that it reflects nervousness about “...a last-minute surprise from John Podesta's hacked emails.”
As the election has neared, WikiLeaks has been publishing what it claims are emails hacked from the account of Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman.
The contents have included issues that may be considered sensitive areas for Clinton and the Democrats such as their view of Bernie Sanders.
Business Insider points out that neither Clinton nor her staff have confirmed the authenticity of the emails but have instead attributed them to Russia’s alleged attempt to sway the election.
In response to Palmieri’s post, WikiLeaks tweeted back to her that the “Biggest 'whoppers' are those your campaign has been telling.”
The group also states that “WikiLeaks will continue its perfect record.”
