A car bomb’s rocked the Turkish city of Diyarbakir, reportedly killing at least one person and wounding dozens more.
It happened near a police building in the central district of Baglar.
The blast followed overnight arrests of leaders of the pro-Kurdish HDP – and other party politicians.
The governor’s office in Diyabakir – the largest city in the mainly Kurdish southeast – says militants from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, are believed to be behind the attack.
Turkey’s been in a state of emergency since a failed coup in July. A subsequent purge has seen thousands of public sector workers fired or suspended.
