Crysis 2 Beta PC Gameplay at DX9 1920X1080 Hardcore setting FRAPS recorded\r
\r
Played and FRAPS recorded on a Core i7 860 and a Geforce GTX 570\r
\r
Some information people may find useful:\r
- It is absolutely playable at these settings, on a stock i7 860 and a single GTX 570\r
- With the cpu at 4Ghz and the gpu at 850Mhz it gave 55fps average for this exact part of the game\r
- Only DX9 is available in the beta. The game is quite nice as it is. DX11 should sky rocket it.\r
- The game in its current form, is capped at 60fps. Even disablig vsync from the control panel, does nothing.\r
- All in all, quite decent job for the PC, although the consolization it has undergone, is quite evident at parts.\r
- 600MB video ram usage on the 570 at these settings, in this level\r
-This is the gpu usage and framerate while playing this level on the system at stock\r
\r
- This is the cpu usage during the battle with the soldiers at 05:00\r
\r
- System RAM usage is around 1GB for this level\r
-On my Q9550@4Ghz+5850 it gave an average of 33fps for the first five minutes of this video, at the same settings.\r

-I did two run throughs of the fist five minutes of this level, on my Phenom II X4 @3.5Ghz. One run through on the 4850 and one on the GTX 460 1GB@850Mhz.\r
The 4850 was giving around 15-20fps. The GTX 460 was giving 30-40fps. I am pretty sure that the 4850 could do better with more video ram, but it must be hitting framebuffer wall, since I know for a fact that the game at these settings requires 600MB of video ram, while the 4850 only has 512MB.\r
\r
This is the cpu and gpu usage, when the 460 was used\r
