On Wednesday, Anderson Cooper commented on Newt Gingrich’s assertion that Megyn Kelly is "fascinated with sex," noting Gingrich is in no position to be making such accusations.
In a recent Fox News interview, an exchange between Megyn Kelly and Newt Gingrich became quite heated.
Gingrich criticized Kelly’s coverage of sexual abuse allegations against Donald Trump and asserted she is, “fascinated with sex.”
On Wednesday, Anderson Cooper weighed in on the situation, noting of Gingrich, “This is a guy who is, what, on his third marriage, cheated on his first two wives, and was having an affair while he was impeaching Bill Clinton. For a male like him with his record on relationships to accuse Megyn Kelly of being fascinated by sex, just seems like a particularly ironic thing.”
Ana Navarro agreed with most of the statement, commenting, “You said ironic. I think the word you’re looking for is hypocritical.”
She continued, “Sexual assault and sex are two different things. One is unwanted, one is wanted, so maybe they need to understand that to begin with.”
