The first trailer for “Logan,” starring Hugh Jackman in his final performance as Wolverine, was released on Thursday.

The film will revolve around the aging mutant living in solitude, until his old friend Professor X (Patrick Stewart) asks the former X-Men to help a young mutant who “needs our help.” It appears the “Logan” takes place in a time when mutants are an endangered species, as Logan says “they’re gone now.”

Since the poster and official title for “Logan” were revealed at the beginning of October, director James Mangold has been releasing photos from the set, revealing other characters such as Boyd Holbrook’s Donald Pierce. Mangold also tweeted out the second page of the script, which says that Logan is “older” and that “it’s clear his abilities aren’t what they once were.”
