A few months ago 3-inch baby born in Lilavati hospital Mumbai, India. There are many immature birth cases are available in the world, but this is the first time happen in the history of medical science. Well, this is a miracle – that 3 inch has been born alive.
Babies in such cases remain underweight or very small in size, this type of babies mostly born 37 weeks before the pregnancy of their mothers. And the birth causes many health problems because their organs were not fully developed. Such type of babies is known as Premies.

Such type of babies needs a special care from their family and doctors. These cases of babies are always kept under a special medical care which is known as neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
