Suzuki could be buying more than 50% of Proton, effectively turning our national carmaker into its subsidiary. Meanwhile the Attorney-General’s office says it did not receive a fresh request for assistance from the Swiss on the 1MDB fiasco, and Bank Negara is expected to cut the OPR again in November.
