Impressive footage has emerged of man long-boarding on top of an ancient building in Estonia.

The video, filmed on September 19, shows Ervin Punkar climbing up the ruins of the Pirita convent and riding his long-board across the building's roof, incredibly close to edge.

''There were these metal hooks in the middle of the wall, so I had to be close to the edge not to hit them,'' the skater later wrote online.

''There was people walking down under so I had to be quick, because if someone shouted, I could have lost my concentration and fall.''

''It was probably the scariest thing I've done, although the most rewarding,'' he continued.
