I coached my Tae Kwon Do team for nearly 10 years and without fail the poorly behaved kids where the ones who's parents didn't want them punished or thought things were too harsh. The parents who actually disciplined their kids were the ones who had well behaved kids. They were also the ones who won more, by a large margin.
