Padmavati | Deepika Padukone To Perform Ghoomar- Rajasthani Dance

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor are coming together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Preproduction work for the film is going on full fledged and a set has been made at the Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai. Well a particular set will be used to shoot a song featuring Deepika Padukone, which will be her first song and dance from Padmavati. The Padmavati shoot will begin with Deepika’s dance number, for which the actress will start training now. It will be shot at the Mehboob set where the queen’s Water Palace from the Chittorgarh fort has been recreated. The first song sequence will be a Rajasthani dance style – ghoomar. As per sources, Folk dancers from Rajasthan will be flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her.
