Hey not to interrupt the rant here, but I've always wondered what y'all hotel people think of my kind of guest... see I work at a big convention every year and us event staff all have this thing worked out where we get rooms at fancy hotels and then share them between like 6-8 people. Are we pissing you guys off when we do that? I always try to clean up after myself and not ask for too many extra blankets, but I always kinda wonder if y'all are annoyed having half the rooms in the building at triple capacity.

They said that they were planning to basically fudge it a bit and do the story just differently enough to avoid getting sued. Which would make sense, they referenced/borrowed a lot of shots/themes from SotL in the first two seasons anyways so they'd have to play around with it even if they had the rights just to avoid repeating the same beats.

I think if this were posted over at /r/legaladvice, the basic response would be that since she doesn't really have any damages (the kid arrived late but was fine, nothing was damaged, she didn't have to pay out of pocket for anything, etc.), she doesn't really have a case. Sure she was anxious for a bit until the kid was found, but that doesn't really count for much unless she had a heart attack and required medical attention, or something like that. Jet Blue will probably cough up a few thousand to make it go away, but if she thinks she's retiring on this incident, she's sadly mistaken.
