Forty years ago Nekchand's father in law came back from Delhi after learning how to make delicious fruit chaat. Ten years ago he passed on the tradition to his son in law. Since then Balaji Fruit Chaat located at Gol Chauraha, Saket in Meerut has retained its position as one of the popular food joints.
