Shawn Marion, Dirk Nowitzki, DeJuan Blair, Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon all scored in double figures but it wasn't enough as the Denver Nuggets hand the Dallas Mavericks their first loss of this young NBA season.

Nuggets center J.J. Hickson scored a season-high 22 points, eight rebounds and three steals for Denver in the win.

Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki passed Brooklyn's Kevin Garnett for 14th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
