One pilot is dead after a U.S. Air Force aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff Tuesday morning near Sacramento, according to the Beale Air Force Base in California. Two pilots ejected from the U-2 reconnaissance plane before it went down. The condition of the second pilot is unknown.
