Before Jimmy Carter became President of the United States, while leaving a fundraising event in October 1969, he claimed to see an eerie object floating in the Georgia nighttime sky. Authors say the suspected UFO was flashing and that Carter was so disturbed by what he saw he filed a report on the National Investigations Committee on aerial phenomenon's and the national UFO bureau.
