Learn how to make restaurant style Chicken Kali Mirch - a quick and easy Indian main course recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Murg Kalimiri is a rich chicken dish where chicken pieces are marinated in curd & crushed black pepper and cooked in onion and coriander paste.


Ingredients:

800 gms Chicken
100 gms Curd (Dahi)
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 tbsp crushed Black Pepper
Salt to taste
4 tbsp Oil
Water

For Green Gravy Paste:
25 Garlic cloves
1/2 inch Ginger
1 Onion
Coriander Leaves


Method:

- Marinate the chicken with curd, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper and salt. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- In a pan heat some oil.
- Add the green paste and saute well.
- Add crushed black pepper and again mix well.
- Add the marinated chicken. Mix everything well.
- Add little water and mix well.
- Cover it with a lid and let the chicken cook for 15 minutes.
- Delicious Chicken Kali Mirch is ready to be served.
