The Bengals win on a 47 yard field goal by Mike Nugent with 54 seconds remaining. Andy Dalton had a good passing performance hitting on 23 of 30 throws for 366 yards with a touchdown and pick. They ran for only 57 yards on 19 carries. Wide out A.J. Green had a monster game catching 12 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown. Defensively they allowed 340 yards to the Jets offense with 152 rushing yardage.
Pittsburgh is 1-0 with the 38-16 road victory on Monday night to the Washington Redskins as a – 2 ½ point favorite. The total finished at over 49 points. It was a big night for Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who hit on 27 of 37 passes for 300 yards with three touchdowns and a pick. DeAngelo Williams rushed it 26 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. They allowed 329 yards passing to Washington but only one touchdown in the Redskins four red zone drives. Steelers were 3 of 3 inside the red zone.
