Dramatic footage has emerged of an injured climber being rescued off the sheer side of a mountain in the High Tatras in Slovakia.
The video, filmed on Friday, shows the helicopter flying into the valley to airlift the climber out.
The filmer later wrote online: "It happened during rappeling form Volia tower, Mengusova valley in Slovakia High Tatras.
"When we tried to pull the rope from last belay point, the end of the rope, released a loose rock of the size of the head and fell down on the girl's ankle."
"Fortunately it didn't brake any bones but ... cut some superficial veins which caused quite strong bleeding," he continued.
"[The] climber got first aid and was transported on the rope by helicopter to the airport, then moved to ambulance and sent to Poprad's hospital to get needed health care.
"[The] second climber had to get all gear and go down to valley alone."
