So here's the breakdown on IKEA installing kitchens or not...

Yes and...

No...

The IKEA Corp does not install kitchens themselves...

They actually have a "certified" company that they use, often times for each country they're located in, to install kitchen on their behalf...

Essentially IKEA refers you to a 3rd party company that handles the installation.. BUT, that 3rd party company, at least the last time we checked, subs out your installation to another party...

It's 2 times removed from the IKEA corp...

Now, there's also alternatives...

We've been installing IKEA kitchen for the last 5 years (500+ kitchens and counting in our home location)... And we've begun building out a national network of contractors to help us service our national clients... Now if you find one of our contractors, perfect!

But if not, no worries... There's usually someone close by to every IKEA location that does installation...

And trust me, before you hire just any contractor, make sure they have a TON of IKEA kitchen experience...

We've seen contractors take WEEKS to install 20 cabinets... When the guys we work with can do a 20 cabinet install in 3-4 days MAX...
