A dramatic video has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing a boy whose head got stuck in a security net on a balcony.

The footage, captured in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province last week, shows firefighters rescuing a five-year-old boy hanging on the seventh floor balcony as his head is stuck in a net.

The boy named Xingxing was reportedly alone at home and fell down from the balcony on the eighth floor when he got trapped one floor below.

According to reports, the boy was successfully rescued and was uninjured.
