Liam Payne revealed that One Direction will be taking a two-year break starting March next year. Liam Payne may have accidentally spilled some crucial information during a BBC radio 1 interview. He quoted '“We haven’t really had time to write an album and whereas two years off… Writing’s not really a job, it’s so much fun, we’ve always had to rush it so it’s nice in these two years I’m going to write some songs and see what happens,” During the same interview, the band members insisted they aren't splitting up officially, they are just taking some time to focus on solo projects. Louis Tomlinson, who's been guest-judging on X Factor, says he'll be working on his own record label but will be collaborating with his One Direction band mates on songwriting.
