The protagonist of the video above is called Atlas and is one of the most advanced humanoid robots ever built. It is the latest product of Boston Dynamics, the American company acquired by Google in 2013 from which came out petman, a robot for war, BigDog, the most advanced quadruped robot, Rise, the robotic scorpion and Cheetah, the robot 4 fastest legs in the world.
The Atlas project is not a novelty: Boston Dynamics had already presented a first version in 2013, but it was much bigger and cumbersome and needed a cable that would provide the electricity needed for operation.
