Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has warned Donald Trump of "massive disappointment" if he backs down on his plan to deport undocumented immigrants.
Earlier in the week, Trump said his previous plans to deport the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the US illegally could be "softened."
"Trump didn't garner a lot of enthusiastic support by being soft on anything," Palin said on Fox News, "but by having a still spine and doing what he knows a majority of Americans want."
