Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo left Thursday’s preseason game against the Seahawks with an apparent back injury after being sacked.
Romo walked off the field on his own power.
He tried some throws on the sideline, but it was a coach’s decision to keep him out of the game.
Romo has played only 16 snaps in the preseason.
The Cowboys close the preseason Sept. 1 against the Houston Texans, but Romo has not played in a preseason finale since 2006.
