Starbucks is known to have a secret menu for people, but the chain also has an unofficial option for dogs.
The popular treat is fittingly called the Puppuccino, which is simply whipped cream in an espresso cup, notes Refinery 29.
The trend has been boosted in large part by the Kitsap Humane Society in Washington state which works with a local Starbucks to help its shelter dogs get adopted.
For the Puppuccino Pals program, one shelter dog a week is taken to Starbucks for the treat and gets its photo enjoying the whipped cream posted to Instagram; the store also puts up a sign about the adoptable animal.
The effort has resulted in adorable photos of happy dogs and increased exposure for the ones that need permanent homes which is the main goal.
