Kirk Fraser was out whale watching with family visiting British Columbia for his wedding when he filmed a very lucky seal scrambling onto his boat to escape a pod of orcas on the hunt. The seal jumped onto the boat and squeezed between the engines to avoid the jaws of the killer whales.

Fraser said the seal fell off twice, but scrambled back on, and popped off when the orcas gave up. The seal was “hanging around the boat just in case,” Fraser said, “then swam off.” Credit: YouTube/Kirk Fraser
