Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA from Karjat, Suresh Lad, caught on tape assaulting a bureaucrat in Raigad district of Maharashtra, now denies, says he never hit the person.
On asked where he would apologise to the official, the NCP MLA says the official who is involved in the ruckus is not a government official.
The incident happened when deputy collector allegedly answered back the MLA.
In the video, Suresh Lad could be seen slapping and threatening the bureaucrat while the latter pleads him to stop.
