Gilgit (Gilgit-Baltistan), Aug 16 (ANI): The Awami Action Committee of Gilgit-Baltistan has called for an indefinite strike in the entire area unless and until Pakistan withdraws its security forces and also rollback China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). People of Gilgit Baltistan believe that the corridor will exploit its hydro resources only to benefit Pakistan and deny share for the region. Locals are worried about increasing Chinese footprint in the region.
